This nicely crafted, character-driven viral advertisement, The Ultimate Break, was produced out of Paris based Akama Studio.

I don’t know about you, but I can go for a Kit Kat bar right now.

Keith Paynter says:

Gotta love Renderman! (Maybe - sure has some Pixar-like influence)

The morphing office gave me a Gilliam-esque nightmare - “The Crimson Permanent Assurance!”

This is the true story of what happened to Societe Generale’s “rogue trader”.

Anyway, I watched this twice and the animation of the poor sap’s computer screen falling into complete chaos, finally collapsing with one last “blat”, cracked me up both times.

It really reminded me of Ratatouille and that’s not a bad thing. I approve of this nicely done commercial.

When the building reached its full height it reminded me of the first Fleisher Superman cartoon “The Mad Scientist”. Also Tex Avery’s “Kingsize Canary” comes to mind. Very well done!
