Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Spot
August 31, 2009 8:33 pm
Illustrators David Cowles and Jeremy Galante collaborated on this snazzy promo, titled “Don’t Miss It,” for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. It kind of feels like these Vic Haboush concept paintings come to life…and that’s not a bad thing. |
Haha that was great :D
…or the colour keys from ‘The Incredibles’
Love it ! Where’s Robin ?
Wow – THAT is pretty cool.
Awesome.
I live in Rochester. This animation makes it look like a cool place. If only it was really like that.
I love that.
One of my college drummer friend’s first professional orchestral gig involved getting paid union scale to attend three rehearsals just to play one cymbal crash in a Bruckner symphony.
mmm NICE!
Cooooool.
i love the character animation! exciting!
I laughed. I wasn’t expecting that!
The triangle was miced too close – and that’s pretty much the only bad thing I have to say about this. Gorgeous visual style, a chase scene that engages without setup and keeps you hooked through acrobatics and staging alone and a neat payoff.
Is Jeremy taking animation courses at Edinboro U?
This is so excellent! Dave and Jeremy are clearly talented illustrators and animators.
