The History of French Animated Commercials

I visited the commercial exhibit while in Paris and it was really great. There is a dvd that is available which contains lots of the commercials. While I was at the musuem, there was an exhibit about comics and toys featuring contemporary comic artists creating works focused on classic toys.

Thanks for the links, Tsuka: I visited the exhibit in late november, but the DVD was not yet available.
The exhibit itself was pretty fascinating: I knew nothing of those ads from the 20s and early 30s, and was pleased to discover some by Paul Grimault that are not on the french collector’s edition of “Le Roi et l’Oiseau”. From the 50s on, the names were more familiar (not the works, though), and I was very excited to discover that some ads I remembered very well from my chidhood in the early 80s had been created by Richard Williams.
