Stereo Skifcha by Denis Borisovich (Russia): Borisovich’s earlier piece Jumpman was featured in Animated Fragments #12.

Bacon Clock by Greg Lytle (US)

Jammin’ by Hobo Divine (Canada)

Faces by Alexander Gellner (Germany): “This is an abandoned project and study, pretty much in preparation for my One Minute Puberty piece…I want to develop this approach further at some point. For now, it’s a nice study and tribute to a certain michael jackson video. The “John Jay Marathon” tune was made by beatbox legend Mando.”

Bonheur Partagé by Joshua Catalano (France)

The first one looks funny and all that.

Who wouldn’t laughed at an occasionally mustachioed, bespeckled cat that moves to the riddem?

But, is it technically animation or is it clever editing, peanut butter, paper and scotch tape?

Pixilation, time-lapse, and film editing may all be applied as animated techniques and have been recognized as part of the animator’s toolbox since the early 1900s.

I could certainly see time-lapse as being valid enough but I guess I just look at that snippet as rearranging video.

No harm, no foul.

“Bacon Clock” reminds me of how Michael Scott burned his foot on “The Office.”

Hobo devine is the favourite of mine.

These snippets are a great idea
