Looks AWESOME! Count me as a fan. Is she the one who re-designed the Looney Tunes?

  • Really nice use of flash. Great colours. I want to see more !

  • Darkblade

This christmas is going to be a hoot, Jessica Borutski is probably one of the only people who can get cute and cuddly stuff done right. Thats actually worth watching.

  • WOW! That was amazing, and enough to get me hyped when the short film is released! I love the panda short and I’ll even check out the new Looney Tunes show when it comes out (wasn’t it supposed to be on CN in the fall?).I read on John K’s blog that she’s self taught, which is very inspiring and makes me want to hit up the light-box!

    • Jess actually graduated from the animation program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, where she was just inducted into their hall of fame.

  • Jorge Garrido

WOW! This looks even better than I was expecting! This is maybe the most anticipated short film of the year and to premiere it on Christmas day is a terrific gift!

That must is absolutely killer, too.

  • Can’t wait! I love free, awesome cartoons. (‘Free’ and ‘awesome’ are my two favorite adjectives.)

  • Cool. I remember visiting her blog months ago and watching test footage of this film, I can’t wait to see how it turns out, it looks incredibly promising.

And kudos for the Looney Tune character designs.

  • What a nice young lady AND she’s made a jolly fine cartoon for us… that makes this whole thing marvellous

  • WOW!!! This is GREAT NEWS!!!

  • dr. truth

    This is really impressive.
She is a cute and super talented cartoonist.
Whoever her boyfriend is, the guy is a very very lucky
    man. *sighs in utter depression*

    • easy tiger, let’s keep it professional

  • I knew Jessica when.. well, not really her personally.. but I have been following her blog for a long time. Glad to see her getting the kudos she so deserves.

  • It looks beautiful so far and will make a delightful Christmas present. It’s great to see Jessica designs in a Jessica created film that really shows her strengths. Great artistry!
