Can’t wait to listen to this podcast! I’m one of probably many who pre-ordered Eric’s book off Amazon the day it became available, only to see it immediately go out of stock. :( Hopefully, it will come soon…I’m super excited to get this book! :)

I guess I’ll wait on my Amazon order cause I’m not paying 35 bucks for a copy at Samuel French. Anybody know where else you can buy it online for 23 dollars?

I don’t know if Eric’s book was ever “in stock” at Amazon. I pre-ordered it as soon as it was announced , but the delivery date of July 18 came and went . I ended up canceling my Amazon pre-order and having a friend get me a signed copy at the Comic Con and I also bought a second copy at my local Barnes & Noble (my “working copy” which I’ll mark up with notes in the margins while the signed version stays pristine as a collector’s item ).

I don’t know what’s going on with Amazon, but I’ve seen the book on the shelves at Barnes & Noble and Borders book stores .

Son of a…I started listening to the Goldberg podcast, which got me too excited and went ahead and I just bought it at French’s.

I’ve been to both Barnes and Noble and Borders and didn’t see it there. Oh well, I’m sure my book will be in the mail in a day or two.

This is what happens because I waited!

Might have to check the two B’s tomorrow if they have at least one copy on the shelf, but I highly doubt I’ll get it if they hadn’t ordered it in the first place (or else someone in town is a bigger nut than I am).

As for the podcast, hopefully I won’t have to wait 3-4 months for all the installments to be uploaded (having a short attention span that needs an hour or so to be pleased at one time).

Eddie, Eric Goldberg is indeed the ‘cuddliest man in animation’. Last year at the NYC ArtExpo all the kids were flocking around Eric to hear his Tweety Pie & Daffy (screaming) voice characterizations.

Anyone who can win over a crowd of New Yawk kids is definitely cuddly!!!

Funny you should mention that, Larry. I’ve listened to just half of the podcast. He laughs while discussing his early exposure to Woody Woodpecker and his laugh is eerily reminiscent of Woody!
