You can’t make stuff like this up. The Japanese Butt Biting Bug is the latest fad from that wacky island in the Pacific.

So remember, folks, the Butt Biting Bug will get you, if you don’t watch out.

Man, it must be something in their water.

That, or all the MERCURY in their sushi… beats the hell out of me.

I think this had less to do with animation than the Miss Teen South Carolina post.

When you posted the Japanese toilet-training cartoon, I didn’t think it was all that weird.

This is weird.

this reminds me of how about a year ago, there was this really musical cartoon about maggots happily pulling poo out of people’s butts. I think it was flash. Its probably still online somewhere. It was also asian. Same studio maybe?

Having checked up on that, it appears to have been from the long-running NHK program, “Minna no Uta” (or “Everybody’s Song”). Though aimed at children, it is an entertaining anthology of music videos that has been around for nearly 50 years. Some familiar animators and studios have worked on these sequences.

my favourite part has to be the meditating bug under the water-fall and the follow-up zen brush-painting. he may bite butts but he ain’t shallow…

And yet, if you turn off the sound and play “Rump Shaker,” it still works okay…

What were they thinking? I mean why ? Please explain? Butt biting bugs….

Do they have one on nose picking drivers getting buggers on their cell phones while texting other butt biter bugs about where all the jucy pieces of ass are hanging out?

I mean REALLY!

This is beyond my comprehension. THANK GOD!

Who would sponsor a program like this anyhow…
