What is the most valuable piece of artistic advice you have ever received, and from who?
“I can’t remember who said it, whether it was in a film or someone said it in real life but I was taught the abbreviation K.I.S.S. — ‘Keep It Simple Shithead’ — which is a mantra I try to abide by everyday. If you don’t ‘get’ the image in a few seconds, then it’s probably not working.”
