OMAHA, Neb., Nov 8, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) — It was announced today that Rising India, Inc. (RSII.PK) a publicly traded company, will co-finance the production and distribution of a major 3-D animated feature film, Beast of Burden, with RegalWorks Media Group, LLC. The announcement was jointly made by Rising India’s CEO and President, Arthur Taylor, and RegalWorks Managing Partner, Dane B. West.

Under the proposed terms of the deal, Rising India Inc. and International Animation & Film Group, Pte. Ltd., a Rising India subsidiary, will provide a funding package to be used for production and marketing of the film. The production budget is approximately $32 million.

The deal was structured and negotiated by Dane B. West on behalf of RegalWorks Media Group, LLC who said, “We have a strong belief in this project. Beast of Burden will be a visually stunning animated feature film with a timeless and compelling story that will appeal to viewers of all ages around the world. We are very pleased to have Rising India, Inc. as our partner in bringing this wonderful story to the screen.”

Written, directed, and created by Kirby Atkins, Beast of Burden tells the tale of a mythical creature and his journey to save his family from a brutal farmer. Mr. Atkins has written feature films for Miramax, 20th Century Fox, Regency, and Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca Productions. The producers are anticipating a theatrical release in early 2014.
