Disney Partners with Outfit7 To Produce Webseries Based on “Talking Friends” Apps
PALO ALTO, Calif.– Outfit7 Inc., a subsidiary of Out Fit 7 Ltd and the global mobile entertainment leader behind the blockbuster Talking Friends collection of apps, announced that it is working with the Disney Interactive Media Group to produce an original animated web series based on its Talking Friends franchise. The deal extends the reach of Outfit7’s Talking Friends characters beyond the mobile app space to a new online entertainment platform.
Disney Interactive Media Group, in conjunction with Outfit7, will develop the original web series featuring Talking Tom Cat, Talking Ben the Dog, as well as other beloved Talking Friends characters. Fans worldwide will be able to follow the hilarious antics of Tom and Ben as they set off on a host of outrageous adventures. The series will run on Disney.com, Disney’s new network on YouTube, and will be accessible through the Talking Friends mobile apps.
