London, November 2011 Former Mill Producer Denise Flavell joins UNIT this month as the facility’s Animation Producer. She brings with her extensive expertise of running CG animation projects for commercials, which are fast becoming key areas of growth for UNIT. She is also experienced in short films, promos, gaming and digital work.

Denise has worked with leading agencies including Ogilvy, TBWA, DLKW Lowe, Mother, Adam & Eve, Wieden & Kennedy and Leo Burnett for clients such as Sony, Unilever and Coca-Cola.

Denise was most recently a Producer at The Mill and a Production Manager at Nexus. She started her media career at M&C Saatchi as a media planner & buyer, bringing with her additional agency insider knowledge which will enable UNIT to better deliver outstanding service to clients.

Denise said on her appointment, “I initially approached UNIT with a view of freelancing, but when I went in to meet the team, I was quickly taken by the people, energy, and level of work going through its new, state of the art facility. I was really pleased when they offered me a permanent position and am excited to be joining at such a unique time of growth and change. I hope my deep experience in animation and CG will be instrumental in helping to grow that department and create a lasting impact for UNIT.”

Denise’s appointment is the 10th major hire for UNIT since the summer and the facility is also currently speaking with additional talent across VFX, finishing and audio to fill key roles.  UNIT most recently announced the additions of Lisa Vaughan as Senior Producer and Darryl Bolton as Commercials Director.

The Post house is also making key investments in technology, which will be announced shortly.
