SHEFFIELD, UK — Lightworks, the world’s leading supplier of rendering solutions for developers of advanced 3D computer graphics software, is pleased to announce the company’s participation at this year’s SIGGRAPH exhibition in Los Angeles, California.

Lightworks has long supported the Siggraph exhibition recognising the importance of this event within the market place and the opportunity to demonstrate cutting edge technology to visitors.  This year will be no different and Siggraph attendees will be able to see a selection of the latest technology from Lightworks.

Lightworks Artisan
Lightworks Artisan, the company’s next generation product, is now available within a number of CAD applications on sale within the market place.  Visitors to the Lightworks booth will be able to see how simple and intuitive this product is and how it can help in the creation of high quality imagery of virtual products and buildings during the design phase.  BeLight Software, developers of the Live Interior 3D product for Mac, will be demonstrating Render Boost — their Artisan based product — on the booth, showing users how Artisan has been introduced to improve and simplify the rendering process.

Partnership with AMD
As part of the Company’s ongoing commitment to offer a wide range visualisation technologies, Lightworks has been working with AMD to provide capability for stereoscopic 3D technology.  These capabilities will be demonstrated within Lightworks Artisan on the Lightworks booth and visitors will be able to see the improved performance which AMD FirePro graphics cards give to the rendering of stereoscopic 3D models with real-time.

Jon Peddie Research Press Luncheon
Lightworks will be taking part in this renowned media event during Siggraph and Lightworks CEO, Dave Forrester, will be part of the panel debating “Doing more with Multicore.”

Dave Forrester, CEO at Lightworks, commented; “We’re really looking forward to another great Siggraph exhibition and I’m sure Siggraph 2012 will not disappoint.  We have some exciting new technology on show on the Lightworks booth and we hope that visitors will be encouraged and inspired by what they see.”
