So… what’s the book?

It’s sad that only a couple folks take the time to comment on Gary Panter, whose wonderful work is often trivialized and minimalized by those that brand him only for his Emmy-winning work on PeeWee’s Playhouse, when he has earned hundreds of other awards, honors and accolades- which offer far more artistic prestige. Panter is a Van Gogh amongst 5 year old finger painters in this industry, but let’s choose to focus on something 22 years old, rather than the real milestones he’s made in RAW, Heavy Metal, multiple comics and graphic novels- that push the artistic boundaries of this certifiable genius.

Gary’s work is very cool…and among the highlights of the book tour will be a RARE musical performance. See it if you can. Years ago, he released an album (Praying for Smurph?) and a single (Tornader to the Tater, both very collectible). And Devin Flynn has got to be affiliated w/ The Cryptic Corporation (The Residents).
