KROK International Animated Films Festival

KROK is an international showcase for animation films of the highest quality and diversity, organized as a river cruise, taking place in Russia and Ukraine in turns. This year the festival will take place on the following route: Saint Petersburg- Lodeynoye Pole – Petrozavodsk – Goricy – Cherepovets – Dubna – Moscow.
Animated projects will be accepted in the following categories:
- Films up to 5 minutes
- Films of 5-10 minutes
- Films of 10-50 minutes
- Films for Children
- Applied and commissioned animation (educational film, music video, advertising film, TV trailer)
Note: Student works are not accepted for the 2015 edition

The 19th edition of New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF) will be held at venues throughout New York City. The festival supports the creation of a more dynamic film culture for children and teens, and as such often presents films that were not created with young audiences in mind, but are embraced enthusiastically by children and families nonetheless. It is this bold and thought-provoking approach to programming that has made the festival a cultural touchstone in New York City.
An Oscar-qualifying Festival in the Best Live Action and Animated Short Film categories, the Festival’s prestigious jury includes actors Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis and Jeffrey Wright, filmmakers Christine Vachon, James Schamus and Gus Van Sant and distinguished animators Bill Plympton, John Canemaker and Henry Selick, among others.

The 1st annual GLAS Animation Festival takes place March 3-6, 2016 in the historic city of Berkeley, California, just a quick ride away from San Francisco. GLAS Animation Festival puts its emphasis on what is new, innovative, and exciting in the contemporary world of independent animation. We focus on the artistry of the international independent animation community while uniting all aspects of animation including professionals, and students alike. Our venues include the Shattuck Cinemas, the David Brower Center, and the Berkeley Art Center.
At GLAS Animation Festival we have a complete competition program for best Narrative, Non-Narrative, Undergraduate, Graduate, and Commissioned short films as well as a Best Feature competition category. We feature retrospectives, special curated programs, guest curators, Q&As, behind the scene screenings and panels, animation installations and more. GLAS Animation Festival unites the animation community with the Berkeley and Bay Area community, sharing great and unique animated works from around the world.
Our goal is to become the leading animation festival in the United States where the international animation community can gather together to view and share work from around the globe.
