BTW, anyone else notice how unsympathetic and obnoxious Spongebob is in the series’ more recent episodes? I’m starting to hate the little guy now. And I don’t WANT to.

This makes me wonder if professional animators ever take the time to sketch down their own personal political thoughts. Corporate/union conflicts of interest probably keep a lot of that stuff in the closet, but I’d pay money for a book of social/ political cartoons drawn my famous animators.
I’d pay even more to see secret animated cartoons (though finding the time to invest in while your earning your bread is nearly impossible)
Actually come to think of it, there was that anti-bombing cartoon of the Smurfs that was produced, but that was not intended to ever be aired in the U.S.
I’ll have to research this more if I ever get the time.
