Chinese CGI Reconstruction of Tiger Woods Crash

Every news organizations has reported the Tiger Woods car crash by now, but only the Chinese have recreated the event with glorious CGI animation. They’ve even animated the alleged domestic altercation between Woods and wife that led to the crash. I would totally be a regular viewer of American TV news if they animated their news stories like this. (Thanks, David OReilly) |

I probably would’ve turned on the news more often if they begin giving us animated reenactments like this to help out as much-needed visual aids.

I caught this late last night from, where else, a China news service. Pretty darn cool.
I don’t like to throw this around, but I’ve actually shopped at the Wal-Mart across the street from the Health Central in this clip, so we’re practically neighbors. There’s also a Radio Shack in the same shopping center — talk about convenience!

That White House crashers animation is too funny. You don’t need to know what they’re saying to know they’re sticking it to the Secret Serivice.

OtherDan, I think “E! True Hollywood Story” once did a special on the Nicole Simpson murders that featured CGI recreations of the possible murder scenarios. But the recreations didn’t seem as cheesy as these CGI recreations here.
I was wondering if Cartoon Brew would have a thread about these recreations. I love the over the top staging and acting. :-)
ALL speculative news stores should be animated like this.

According to Keith Olbermann, that Taiwanese station is making more and more of these shorts. I guess they know a good deal when they see one. I bet they’ll make enough of these to put together a feature length movie. They really should hire Xavier to be the marriage counselor. :-)
