Yeeechhh! Take a look below.

No, it’s not Leatherface – but a vintage cloth Halloween costume of Oswald The Lucky Rabbit now selling on ebay. The fabric mask would scare the bejesus out of anyone. Talk about being “off-model”!

That’ll replace the whale in my nightmares!

That looks like the costume from the touring road production of Donnie Darko.

ALL those very early cartoon Halloween costumes are scary as hell. Brrr… cheesecloth masks…

There’s a great photo in Disneyana of a bunch of kids wearing Mickey, Minnie, Popeye, Donald, Olive Oyl and Ma & Pa Katzenjammer costumes and it’s like looking at something from Pan’s Labyrinth.

Please Mr Bunny, I promise to destroy all of my rabbit’s foot, collection, just don’t eat me.

I heard the owner had to sell it because at night it would crawl around by itself in the attic knocking over things, making it hard for him to sleep.Oh yeah ,and something about demonic powers, I cant remember the details exactly…

I think Oswald looked cuter on the new Woody Woodpecker DVD. If he looked anything like that mask, nobody would be calling him “The Lucky Rabbit.”

From the side, he looks like Oswald the Lucky Mandrill.
I’m not convinced that we’re seeing the “real” mask—it has that homemade look, and seems like a custom replacement for whatever originally went with that manufactured smock.

That looks like something that some of my fursuiter friends would use for target practice.

Good lord! And I thought Scarecrow from Batman was scary looking.
