Today’s installment of Bizarro.
A few years too late

Speaking of “boobs”, I hear they’re planning a live action version of THE PERILS OF PENELOPE PITSTOP starring Carrie Prejean as Penelope and Perez Hilton reprising Paul Lynde’s part as the Hooded Claw. Works for me.
Had I been drinking something when I visited the Brew today this is the point where it would’ve all come up my nose and out on the keyboard. Piraro captured that completely unabashed glam-smile perfectly.
What is the single hazel eye on her dress all about? Is this some kind of Masonic imagery?
The eye is one of the things that Dan Piraro slips into all of his panels. He doesn’t put all them into each drawing but he includes things like a slice of pie, a rabbit, a stick of dynamite, a flying saucer, “K2″ (a reference to his two kids whose names both star with K), and a number of others. His Sunday panels usually filled with all of them.
@ Fuzzy Dunlop
An eye, a pie, a shoe, an alien in a Jetson-esque saucer… there are a number of recurring items in all Bizarro panels.
The eye? Um, yeah, it’s all part of the grand conspiracy to, um, something. Actually, Piraro sneaks in these little bits into his comics, hidden away in the frame somewhere. The space alien and the pie are good examples.
And am I the only one who thinks this is really just Mickey in drag?
Nothing cheesy about Minnie’s cosmetic enhancements (nudge nudge wink wink).
Pretty funny until you start wondering what that makes Mickey’s ears….
@ Trevor: oh great… now my mind is going there!
If that’s what appeals to Mickey, he has his own pair.
Imagine the neck pain :)
