A recently published panel cartoon by Guy Endore-Kaiser and Rodd Perry.
(Thanks, Steve Segal)
I wonder how many people would get this? I once heard people say Steve Jobs dresses like season 1 Seinfeld, and this captured that perfectly!
If Luxo wants all that, I wonder what the red-starred Pixar ball will demand! Or John Ratzenberger for that matter. :-(-)
Also Jobs looks pretty mad.
Absolutely brilliant. I would be laughing hysterically, if I wasn’t also a little bit scared.
Ha ha! I was going to say “what a terrible caricature of John Ratzenberger”. Bryan beat me to the punch!
Comics are always funnier when they don’t try to make the world laugh at once.
That’s because no one jacks with The Steve.
“I once heard people say Steve Jobs dresses like season 1 Seinfeld, and this captured that perfectly!”
Um…Steve Jobs has dressed the same for nearly 16 years…it would be seinfeld who copied Jobs.
Luxo had better watch his mouth lest he suffer the same fate as the little mouse with the red pants.
“Um…Steve Jobs has dressed the same for nearly 16 years…it would be seinfeld who copied Jobs.”
Math check! Seinfeld started more than 16 years ago.
Now watch Jobs send the lamp to his private island for a special holiday.
I heard that Dreamworks is working on a movie about a halogen lamp now.
Okay I’ll admit at first I didn’t realize who was talking, but once it sunk in I couldn’t stop laughing
I remember Steve Jobs dressing like this from the late 70’s. Black turtle neck, jeans, and tennis shoes. That pre-dates Seinfeld by more than 10 years.
I’d say Seinfeld copied Jobs.. Understandable.
Hey, I drew that! It is an awful depiction of Steve Jobs but a pretty good one of Lasseter, I think. Thanks for the posting.
THis one’s great but my office staff and I need help!!! We don’t get the 1/19-1/20 comic re: Irony, PA.. Help pls!!! TY
Ah this one: http://guyandrodd.com/galleries/?g=office&i=10
A town called irony that is known for being literal is in itself ironic, so they’ve created an unintentional irony for themselves. It’s not very funny, but it does get us a lot of e-mails.
You guys’ remarks often are not subtle enough, i.e., in the frame with two people in the life raft with the lamb roast, consider the following line instead: “Okay, so it’d be better with mint jelly! . . . ” Nice and subtle, not so in-the-face, yet we still get the idea.
