Dan Gordon tribute

Animator Sherm Cohen has posted an illustrated tribute to cartoonist/storyman/cartoon director Dan Gordon (Popeye, SuperKatt, The Flintstones) on his Cartoon Snap blog. Ever since I first saw the Superman cartoon “Jungle Drums”, I’ve been a Dan Gordon fan. And when you look at the quality of the early H-B cartoons he did with Charles Shows, you know he was a master. The comic books posted on Sherm Cohen’s blog confirm it.
