I was just yesterday thinking about that great show Mr. Shaw! alluded to and also worked on-”The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley”. It was the only watchable TV cartoon of the ’80’s bsides Bakshi’s Mighty Mouse IMO. If someone were to put it on DVD, that would be “most decent”.
Actually, this gag about Wile E. Coyote and the beep-beeping phone had been already used years ago in a ‘Mother Goose and Grimm’ strip (which is even reprinted in Chuck Jones´ own CHUCK AMUCK book).
