On February 1st, indie animation rockstar Don Hertzfeldt kicks off a coast-to-coast 13-state US tour. The main event is the debut of It’s Such A Beautiful Day, which completes his ambitious trilogy about a mysterious man named Bill. Saw him in December in Denver. Though I’m sure most people that read the site already know this it was truly sensational. I had to go on an hour walk at midnight to come down from seeing all three of the movies in a row. Highly recommended.

So glad he’s stopping in Jacksonville, should probably do my part with some unofficial street team/promo. It’d be great to have more independent animators through these parts.
