The 2012 ANNIE AWARDS are now online

In case you missed the live stream here last February, Asifa-Hollywood has now post the entire 39th Annual Annie Awards ceremony online. It runs about about an hour and twenty minutes and, on second look, it’s quite entertaining. Patton Oswalt hosts, and dozens of animation celebrities appear – including (in no particular order) June Foray, Gore Verbinski, Art Leonardi, Weird Al Yankovic, Borge Ring, James Hong, Walt Peregoy and many more. Sit back, relax and enjoy…

Two questions, where can we see:

    2. BALLAD OF NESSIE (Btw is that King Fergus Connolly?)

    • I can’t speak for “Adam and Dog” but “Ballad of Nessie” is on the “Winnie the Pooh” (the 2011 one) DVD and blu-ray. And yes, that is Billy Connolly as the narrator.

Entirety might need an asterisk next to it seeing as how they’ve decided to keep all the gaffs but edit down the speech’s.

Still at the Annie Awards it is more important to hear the jokes and appereances of Live Action stars and personalities than the not so important animation people.

This is NOT the entire ceremony… many award winners have been cut out including best character animation in a animated feature and best tv production design. I find it very disrespectful that ASIFA would cut out any winners. I guess they would rather leave in the wacky B list celeb presenters instead of hard working animation artist winning their much deserved awards. ASIFA should be ashamed of themselves.

For those who missed it, you HAVE to watch from 1:06:00 on. For those who saw it, relive the cringe

Remember that time that Dreamworks won everything?

Sad to hear of the editing done on this though.
