There are only two programs of films in their inaugural year, and the programs will screen on September 1, 8 and 15. Line-up of the films can be viewed on their site.

Festival of Erotic Animation

Also coming up in Rio and Sao Paulo is the 4th International Festival of Erotic Animation. The festival is currently accepting submissions through August 31. Their is no entry fee to submit a film.

  • I had the pleasure of being a part of FIAE’s program in its second year. Alex and Priscilla, the festival’s directors, were really accommodating even though I showed up unannounced and with no functional knowledge of Portuguese.

For a festival with a specific theme the programming was incredibly diverse, but I guess that’s to be expected with animation allowing so many more storytelling avenues than most mediums.

Signe Baumane’s “Teat Beat of Sex” was one of the absolute highlights that year.
