It’s finally coming! Yes!
I was sorta hoping that it would come to theaters like Zombie said in an interview once. Oh, well. Still can’t wait.
Do you have any info on who the crew was on this film? Was it done here in LA? How long was it in production?
I surprised to say this but I actually want to see it. Tom Papa actually sounds pretty good, too!
I should point out, though, that that is clearly not Rosario Dawson as Suzi-X; most websites credit that role to Sheri Moon Zombie. Dawson is apparently a character named Velvet Von Black.

I think the layout was done in LA and the animation in Korea. I saw an interview with Zombie about the film and he said he was working on it for three years in that video.
This movie is certainly not my cup of tea but it’s interesting to see some adult animation being done.
Haven’t heard of this. Looks like it could be worth a watch.

I remember Amid posting that Chris Battle said some of the film’s art was compromised in its overseas stages, and also rushed.
That was a long time ago, though, and I hope that time was spent ensuring quality and not just a bunch of legal and business technicalities.
Although I’ve never been a Rob Zombie fan, I liked his faux trailer in Quentin Tarantino’s GRINDHOUSE, and the style and design of this film looks really, really nice.
Still, my money is being directed at the Beany and Cecil DVD first and foremost. Yeah… college student…

What a shame it’s going straight-to-DVD. I was hoping to see an American-made, R rated animated film showing in theaters soon.
Thanks for posting the credit list. I was trying to piece it together from memory with very little luck beyond Mr.Doug Lawrence, Lynne Naylor, Carey Yost , and Miles Thompson.
I think it looks pretty good. I would consider ordering it.
I’ll wait til after the the DVD is released before I consider buying it, that way I can read the reviews about the film. I’m sure the movie is going to be a R-rated animated roller coaster of fun but you’ll never know how some things might come out in the end.
Better play it safe.
I’ll give it a shot. I’m not a big fan of Zombie, though his first two films were at least interesting. Still, any animation for adults that is coming from somewhere other than Japan is worthy of support, in my book. (Disclosure: I’m an Anime nerd. Please don’t throw things.)
It seems to be heavily-influenced by Kricfalusi, though not-nearly as stylish. I won’t judge it from two short clips, though. Consider it Netflixed!
Now, can we get some funding for Bakshi’s LAST DAYS OF CONEY ISLAND? That’s a film I’d love to see.
Finally! Me and my friends have been looking forward to this since it was announced, we’re all hardcore members of the cult of Lawrence with our Filbert-imitating sessions sometimes going on well into the night; often lasting entire weeks.
Aww, I was really hoping to see this on the big screen. But at least it’s coming out!
