A lot of trailers for American animated features include a fart gag, but Teen Titans Go! To The Movies is raising the bar for farting in American animation with an intestinal relief gag that lasts a full 20 seconds, nearly 25% of the teaser trailer’s length.

The official Warner Bros. synopsis, which claims the film will be “gleefully clever” and “kid-appropriately crass,” revolves around Robin trying to get the attention of a Hollywood film director so the Teen Titans can become movie stars like all the other superheroes:

With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, the Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream. But when the group is radically misdirected by a seriously Super-Villain and his maniacal plan to take over the Earth, things really go awry. The team finds their friendship and their fighting spirit failing, putting the very fate of the Teen Titans themselves on the line!

The film is being directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath. Michail, Will Arnett, Jed Weitzman, and Peggy Regan are producing, with Sam Register, Jelenic, and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett and Weitzman, all are Teen Titans Go! series contributors.

The voices of the characters in the movie will be the same as those in the series – Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), Scott Menville (Robin), Khary Payton (Cyborg), Tara Strong (Raven), and Hynden Walch (Starfire). Additionally, Will Arnett and Kristen Bell provide voices.

Warner Bros. will release the film in the United States on July 27, 2018.
