Worms is a new stop-motion family film being produced in Brazil. The project has an excellent production blog explaining what it’s about, who’s behind it, and how its going.
I’ve been following this film for awhile, and saw some longer clips from the film on their website a few months ago. It looks absolutely fantastic and I can’t wait to see the whole thing. The stop-motion feature has really come into its own recently.
It looks beautiful… Nice animation, cute design and decent acting. Wow! Stop motion has really come back hasn’t it? That tells me that it’s possible for 2d animation to come back. Maybe even Cartoon Network will come back someday…
Okay that was a stretch.
