Here’s a delightful Christmas gift to all our readers whose stockings went bare…

Kerry Cisneroz and Dom Giansante are lifelong H-B fanatics and have created a pool on flickr all to do with Hanna Barbera. The mission is to show as much of their collections as possible, highlight obscure characters, showcase art they have done and ask that contributors do the same. It’s a treasure trove of great pics and thanks to contributors, they’ve unearthed a lot of great paraphenalia. Dig in and enjoy!

Lotsa stuff. I noticed some real obscure stuff like “The C.B. Bears” and its various elements. (You don’t remember “The C.B. Bears”? Can’t say I blame you.)

I have to admit, even if the studio was past it’s prime in the 1970’s-onward, at least they were presistant.

More Hanna-Barbera than you can poke a stick at! :-)

Thanks for posting this. I don’t know why but I’ve always had a strange fascination with Hanna-Barbera’s run-of-the-mill and mediocre cartoons. It’s entertaining to see some of their lesser output, considering you can see a lot of what inspired their better known offerings (there must be at least a half dozen H-B shows which follow the Scooby-Doo formula, for example).

Thanks Jerry for posting about the Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera group on flickr. Dom and I hope everyone enjoys the wide variety of Hanna-Barbera items featured. Please help us continue to grow the group by joining flickr (it’s free!) and posting your Hanna-Barbera items to the Funtastic World group, or please feel free to email me your images to share at kerrytoonz@aol.com, if you aren’t interested in joining flickr. Thanks again!
