TODAY: Jerry on “Stu’s Show”

Once again I will be the guesting on Shokus Internet Radio’s Stu’s Show today at 7pm Eastern / 4pm Pacific. This is your rare opportunity to ask me live and in-person about Cartoons, Cartunes or even Kartunes.

Scheduled topics we hope to tackle include Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry on Blu-Ray, the Animated Features Oscar race, Harveytoons on DVD, Seth MacFarlane’s Flintstones and as always, whatever the listeners want to talk about. You are encouraged to call in your questions and comments on the station’s toll-free telephone number – or better yet, email your questions to: comments-at-shokusradio.com.

Stu’s Show airs live each Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. PST, with rebroadcasts at the same time each day through next Tuesday August 16th. Access to the station’s feed is free, with no registration required, and is available either by clicking on the Enter Site button on the home page (www.shokusradio.com), by choosing one of the audio player links on the site’s main page.

    I’ve already e-mailed my questions to you Jerry! Can’t wait! ^_^

    A few questions I’d like someone to ask our own Jerry during the show (I’ll be sleeping at the time, being in Italy):

    1)Which will be the Tom and Jerry cartoons restored from original negatives to be includeded in the first blu ray volume?;

    2)Please, can you do your very best to have a disc replacement program for “Hare Extraordinarie” and “Frustrated Fowl”? These collections are pretty cool but they’re ruined by the use of widescreen in several shorts.

    Ooh, I’ll be listening, Jerry, to hear major details on the TOM & JERRY bluray and standard and whether or not there are vast differences between the two editions, along with whether or not you can divulge news of another project you are working on, hopefully to show up on video shelves before the year is out–hint: “you’ve done it again!!”

    1.] 8-9 original titles will be on the Tom and Jerry Golden Collection. (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Mouse [1947],
    Mouse Cleaning [1948],etc.)
    The first five cartoons on Spotlight Collection vol. 2 were a test for the CRI negatives.

    2.] NO replacement discs for “Hare Extraordinarie” and “Frustrated Fowl”.

    Is there a recap on the web?

      If you check the schedule over at Shokus Internet Radio, that should show you that the show will be repeated for the rest of the week at a specific time.
