March 4, 2008 8:16 am
Pete Mitchell, frontman of the band No More Kings, writes to Cartoon Brew:
The music video, for their song “Michael (Jump In),” can be seen below. More behind-the-scenes details about the production of the animation are being posted both at the band’s blog and on the Ghostbot blog. |
SUPER charming stuff! :)
Loved it!!!
Now if only you COULD turbo boost an AMC Gremlin.
He He!
Thanks for that. It will keep me smiling for the rest of the day :O)
Great video for a great song. Check out the demo Reel on Ghostbot.com – incredible design and flash animation – they know how to get the most out of Flash. A spectacular reel
Ghostbot never ceases to impress me.
That was a cute and cool music video!
Really great work- I love that great TV series you do– oh wait, those are Esurance commercials! Coulda fooled me- but that’s the point, you folks always deliver the best entertainment value, even if it comes in guise of a 60 second insurance ad!
Is this song also the theme of the New Knight Rider series? “Not that I’d ever DREAM of Hasslin’ the Hoff- don’t cha know!HooHooHoo!” Ed Wynn’s voice popped in my head as I wrote this, for what reason, I have no idea.
How wonderful! I showed it to all my coworkers…how sunny and uplifting! =D
Not to mention an amazing piece of flashwork!
Loved that video, especially where he saves that sports car-type thing from getting hit by the trolley, but that song – that was just horrible!
So it’s not really my thing, ah well.
Ah, No More Kings! Cute video, although I was kinda hoping they’d do an animated video for “Zombie Me”.
Thanks Brew for getting helping to add another great band to my animation lab playlist.
The commenting doesn’t seemt o be eneabled on Pete’s blog so I’ll leave it here:
“How lucky I found you guys from Cartoon brew! Thanks so much for posting the production stuff, it’s really interesting how the process moves along. You all and Ghostbot really kicked out a fantastic and incredibly charming video.
Keep up the great work! No More Kings has a nice new batch of fans in Baltimore :)
My cousin was very lucky and still is. His band rocks, and this video will let you sample the best band in the world! But dont take my word for it — listen to it and you won’t regret it!
I LOVE NO MORE KINGS!!!! Not only is their CD Amazing but they are ridiculous live. A Must See if they come to your town! Great job Ghostbot and thanks for helping the NMK dynasty!
