MUSIC VIDEO: “Robo Redneck” by Mike Judge

This new video, directed by Mike Judge and produced by Titmouse, premieres today on CMT. The video, for the Zac Brown Band features a guitar-shredding, big game hunting robot. That’s good enough for me.

Modern country is second only to dubstep when it comes to music I can’t stand…but I’ll watch anything from Mike Judge. Very much enjoyed this with the help of my trusty mute button.

  • Mike Judge & titmouse, thats a strange combination… but it worked perfectly. This is a lot of fun to watch and the music is great. I’m glad to see that Mike Judge is still going strong after the reincarnation of B&B got canned.

    • Chris Sobieniak

It has, I didn’t know that.

    • Wait, what? The excellent new B&B will not return?

      • Chris Sobieniak

Just seems pretty odd though I suppose we should be thankful MTV gave Judge a chance to bring ’em back at all. I feel I’ve lost faith in MTV for good.

    • Kevin

Nobody’s talking but it looks like the Beavis & Butthead reboot is dead in the water.

  • Griminy

It’s like an extrapolation of Mike’s “Honky Problem”.
    I love it.

  • Jay Sabicer

Looks like it could be a new Adult Swim show. Throw in a musical number every few episodes and I’d be a loyal viewer. So much uncharted territory to explore, as we’ve seen with Pawn Stars, Swamp Loggers and every trip to WalMart I’ve made.

  • Liam Scanlan

According to the ending, it looks like “Robo Redneck” will be a series of music videos.

  • Interesting to see Judge’s design interpreted in a slightly different manner than B&B and KoTH. Cool video. Had to kill the soundtrack quick, though. That ” music” is just about as unlistenably rotten bad as it gets.

  • Michel Van

i don’t care if this end as series of Music videos or as a Adult Swim show
i wanna see more of “Robo Redneck” !!!

  • I like the odd combination of 2 things I don’t like which made a very funny experience I could enjoy. Nicely done over-the-top.

  • Love, love, LOVE this. Mike Judge has a unique sense of comic timing I don’t think he gets enough credit for. I’d love to see a new animated television or film concept from him.
