Badmash a new Indian animation studio with bases in Pune, India and Berkeley, California is promoting itself with a political parody site about legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan and his candidacy for “prime minister” of the US. The site is notable for a couple of slickly produced Flash animation pieces—Dishoom 2008, and a parody of a Hillary Clinton campaign ad, It’s 3AM, America.

	Wow! that looks beautiful! Like a Mary Blair painting come to life. Very strange and yeah the jokes don’t work but wow is it pretty. That’s the first thing I’ve seen from an Indian studio that looks good.

	Design was nice, but the animation was kinda poopoo and the comic timing was really off. Reminded me of Icebox stuff circa 2000.

	Lovely work on the animation and more interesting on the bg… just to add that there are pretty good studios here in India…so much so that some of the major studios esp in flash are outsourcing the work here in India… one such studio is “mike young productions” from cali, they outsource their work to india…other studios like Rhythm and Hues are present here as well. There is a lot of talent here in India…one just has to tap in… cheers! and my vote goes to Big B as well :D
