Cartoons on Hulu

Hulu’s library of animated TV shows, shorts and features is growing more impressive by the week. Hulu’s content includes current series (The Simpsons, Family Guy), anime (One Piece, Inuyasha), animated shorts (the Koji Yamamura library, Pink Panther, Ant and the Aardvark, Tijuana Toads), features (American Pop, The Secret of NIMH), and old TV series (Stressed Eric, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Fat Albert, Drawn Together, He-Man). Hulu isn’t perfect—most of their content is geo-targeted for specific territories, some of the animation is only available for limited periods of time, and the videos have embedded advertising (though the percentage of ads relative to content isn’t unbearable). But even with these issues, it’s a small price to pay for the opportunity to program your personal ‘cartoon network.’ Here’s to hoping that Hulu continues to emphasize animation amongst their other offerings. That’s pretty cool, but the a capella soundtrack distracts the hell out of me. Processed samples of sung syllables wouldn’t be so jarring. Mark Mothersbaugh did that a lot on RUGRATS soundtracks and elsewhere.
Sounds cool. Now if only Hulu would be available in Canada.
Pity Hulu is only available in the United States.
Once again, Hula can only be streamed within the United States. :(

The bottom of your post kept reminding me of one major drawback though, Amid: “We’re sorry, currently our video library can only be streamed within the United States.”
I’m just amazed that hulu put up “Tijuana Toads” at all. I’m hoping for a DVD release though (although I wish somebody would get the correct soundtrack for “Go For Croak” and “Flight to the Finish”)
This article is really only relavent to residents of the USA. Im guessing by the comments on here, the majority of your blog readers are not residents of the united states.

I discovered Ramen Fighter Miki on Hulu, I love that show now.
