As for all the CG talk, I submitted one that was half CG (half Live Action – I know, I know, go ahead and roll your eyes, but I promise it was solid and planned not just a last minute cop out.)

CG’s still gaining momentum is all, so never fear all you CG artists out there, just keep trying and one day I’m sure we’ll eventually be able to impress even the most traditional person! Consider how many years – nay centuries – it was before the human race made the leap from drawing to animating. Similarly, CG needs to be patient and ride the natural life cycle.

Also, I don’t know how many Computer Art people in my school even follow Cartoon Brew and things that seem generally geared towards 2D animation. That among many other reasons is why we need more interaction between the departments.

Not to stereotype, but it’s kinda funny how the N. America shorts “looK” american and the european ones look european.

*ie- The american ones look “cartoony” and the british and Indian ones’ look more artsy. Just an observation.
