JibJab Christmas 2010

That’s me and Amid, John Lasseter and our late friends Walt Disney and Chuck Jones in the latest “Starring You” Sendable Christmas video from our friends at JibJab. This year they secured the rights to the Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters recording of Santa Claus is Coming to Town and created an original stop-motion, Rankin Bass-esque production animated by Max Winston (Flapjack) For more information on how you can send one of these to your friends, visit JibJab.com.

(Thanks Evan and Greg Spiridellis)

Woah! Wasn’t expecting that. Santa’s design is wonderful as is the animation. Great job, Max!

    • Thanks Amid! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Anthony D.

That was cute! Thanks for sharing us with that Jerry, and Merry Christmas! :)

Of your ensemble, was it a hard to cast the roles of devil and angel in the “naughty or nice” scene?

Jib Jab needs to figure out a way to do ‘custom-castable’ feature length stories.

    Thanks for the fun!

Max, awesome job!! That totally made my night, way to go!

Especially liked the little tin horns, little toy drums, rooty toot toots, and rumma tum tums; definite George Pal feel with your own cool design style.

  • Glad you all enjoyed it! Try it out for yourself on JibJab’s site, it’s pretty fun and easy to upload pictures. They were great to work with, and they gave me lots of creative freedom. I got to design and plan pretty much everything… twas’ a fun experience!

  • very nice and funny!!
