My only problem is that the main characters aren’t quite as visually interesting as the characters they meet. The ones in the image for this post are just lovely.

Resembles the art of 1950s Little Golden Book “the Animal Orchestra” illustrated by russian illustrator Tibor Gergely. I will try to scan, but read it every night to my kids as tykes. Ram head caught my eye and animal ears and textures.

So exciting!!! I have a book with these characters, and it’s one of my favorite things to look at.
