    OMG! This is going to be up there with the halloween zombie and paintball-warzone episodes! Community fails to dissapoint, and going in I was worried about how they were going to approach a stop motion episode. But this promo is reassuring, which also makes me wonder if they guys behind “Celebrity Deathmatch” are behind this production.

    Dino Stamatopoulos (creator of Moral Orel and Frankenhole) is heavily involved with the episode, so I’m pretty psyched. But I’d be anyway. Best show on TV, bar none.

    I love this show, its one of the shows that critics say is “the best show you’re not watching” which mystifies me. I cannot wait to see this episode and I hope this series goes on and on!

    I think the idea was hipper when Conan did it a few years ago, actually animating an earlier show he did with David Bowie as guest. But having Dino Stamatopoulos on board makes me very interested to see what he’s doing now. Moral Orel had beautiful cinematic set-ups and timing, it wasn’t just an updated Davey & Goliath or something like that.

    I love COMMUNITY, it’s an incredibly underrated show. It uses pop culture references with a level of sophistication that a show like FAMILY GUY can only dream about. Plus, I highly recommend Alison Brie’s essay “Homosexual, Schmomosexual” which will probably make you fall irretrievably into love with her.

    Its important to note, that ‘Community’ is a show that is and tirelessly crafted by its head writer and creator, Dan Harmon. A guy that was skewered on CartoonBrew for posting an honest rant at his website about the difficulties of working on “Kung Fu Panda” at Dreamworks. Funny how the worm turns no?

    Also working on this project were stop motion veteran Joe Russo and producer James Fino from 23D films.

    Aww yeah, this looks good – the characters look Mad Monster Party good! I’m trying to keep Christmas stuff at arm’s length until, you know, Christmastime, but I’ll be looking forward to this.

    I heard it was a huge undertaking, but looks like it’s going to be amazing. Yeah, with taht dream team of Dan Harmon, Dino Stamatopoulo, Joe Russo(guy behind epic Tool stop mo video)and James Fino behind it, am expecting some really great work.
