Based on the episode I saw in Ottawa, I would have to agree. To keep that much focus with that much tempo is a wonderfully artful thing. Congratulations to Kristy and Aaron on a great achievement. I have no idea how you managed to develop the shows the way you did but we need more of that freedom. Keep up the good fight.

i’m really excited about this show! i really hope it does well. at least among my friends it’s sort of that holy grail job for new york animators. working in television and ACTUALLY animating, for a company that has a great sense of humor and does great work. yeah i’m a little jealous!

I feel like Auginblick is a very “new york” company and has its roots more in classic fleischer cartoons than anything else, which is amazing.

Lets hope it does well and more fun shows to work on in new york pop up!

Superjail! is the best thing to happen to Adult Swim since Venture Brothers – and in terms of animation, Superjail! blows Venture Brothers out of the water. I have nothing but confidence in the new show’s success.

The show hits the web at 6 PM today. I hope it’s as good as the pilot.

Is “graphically ambitious”" just another term for “high school notebook art”?

Just kidding. I’m sure it’ll do fine :D

Awesome. For those like myself who don’t have cable, watch it on the Adult Swim Fix on their website.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!! :)

I am so impressed with the way the show looks (moves!), and I haven’t even seen an entire episode yet!

It’s really a unique show, and it’s unbelievable how much QUALITY the Augenblick crew is squeezing into this thing… just amazing!

Cannot wait to tune in… Thanks for the heads-up!

Gah. Seriously amazing. More cartoons need to take cues.

Just saw the new episode and… WOW!

This show is incredible and any ignoramus that says it isn’t is just going to set television animation back to the bland-age. This is a step in the right direction. It’s beautiful.

It has energy, at this dismal point in TV animation, a welcome change. It’s like ‘what if Goya had Toon Boom?’

Superjail is an absolute feat, both the episodes I’ve seen are so incredibly dense. There’s more jammed into 11 minutes then there is in most feature films, it’s absolutely amazing. The fact that they can keep this up for more than five minutes is a tribute the the dexterity of the creators, and hopefully they can keep it up.

This style reminds me of ” Duckman “, kinda ugly but interesting enough to keep you watching. Good luck with it.
