    Two pieces of Kimball news I would value would be an art book devoted to his work and the publication of his diary. However, anything relating to Kimball is worth looking forward to.

    Depressed? Hardly.

    I had the pleasure of assisting Ward, and John’s an old friend. Back in the sixties, I was lucky enough to hang out with the Kimballs on weekends.

    You should be so lucky.

    Yes, Ward Kimball kept a diary. Apparently quite a detailed one at that.

    To read his unedited thoughts about Walt Disney, the other artists he worked with, the strike, thoughts about the various films he was worked on…wow…some interesting insight for sure!

    I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting though – I’ve heard the family is in no rush to release the contents, which begs the question why? Too provocative perhaps? We’ll probably never know, but what a read it would be!
