Cartoon Brew’s bi-weekly Friday livestream returns this morning for an interview with a special guest: animation director Bill Kroyer.

Kroyer’s new memoir Mr. In-Between: My Life in the Middle of the Animation Revolution documents his journey from the hallowed halls of hand-drawn animation at Walt Disney Animation Studios to cutting-edge cg animation in the early 1980s on projects like Tron and the Mick Jagger music video “Hard Woman,” followed by a varied career that includes producing a feature at his own studio FernGully: The Last Rainforest; helping launch Warner Bros. Animation’s feature animation division in the mid-1990s; and a lengthy run as senior animation director at Rhythm & Hues, where he worked on films like Garfield and Scooby-Doo.

We’ll be live on our Youtube channel starting around 11:00am Pacific/2:00pm Eastern. Join us there or stay tuned to this page where we’ll embed the video shortly. If you watch live, you’ll be able to participate with Bill directly and ask questions in the live chat.
