    It seems like they’re trying to do right what Disney did wrong in the original series by taking Donald back into the cast.

      Then it wouldn’t be Ducktales. It would be Barks with extra characters. I don’t care how much Barks loyalists may protest, if you’re going to do a DUCKTALES comic stay true to the show.

    Great to see DuckTales get a dedicated comic again! I have been digging the Darkwing Duck revival, and the DuckTales “miniseries” under “Uncle Scrooge” comics. I’m hoping for some occasional crossover with the DW comics, since both the TV series and comics of Darkwing have had visitors from Duckburg, but never the other way around.

    I hope that the art stays consistent and strong, I feel like the art in the Darkwing series has been stronger than in some issues of the DuckTales mini-run. That they are going with a long-time Duck artist bodes well…
