Mary Blair and Walt Disney Mary Blair and Walt Disney

This one’s for superfans of classic Disney. If you’re into vintage Disneyland, Mary Blair art, or Imagineering, prepare to laugh.

Actor Jack Plotnick, who may be a familiar face from mainstream tv series and films, has dropped himself into a 1965 episode of Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color in which Disney tours a young woman around the Imagineering department to preview new attractions like It’s a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion. In increasingly unhinged situations, Plotnick impersonates the artists who appear in the episode, including Mary Blair and Blaine Gibson, the latter of whom doubles as a disturbed photographer who trails Disney around the studio.

The videos are clearly a labor of love – no one puts this much effort into making fun of behind-the-scenes Disney studio life unless they have a deep appreciation for it — and Plotnick manages to effectively satirize the bygone era’s workplace improprieties like drinking on the job and womanizing.

Check out the three videos Plotnick has made below, starting with the Mary Blair clip:
