Oscar-Contending Features ‘Memoir Of A Snail’ And ‘Chicken For Linda’ Now Streaming For Free On The Animation Showcase

The films are available on the platform through the holiday season.

Though there are few comps for R-rated stop-motion films at the box office, ‘Memoir of a Snail’ is off to an excellent start.

‘Memoir of a Snail’ opens today in Los Angeles and New York City, before expanding more widely next month.

IFC Films will launch the film theatrically in the U.S. on October 25.

Elliot’s new feature film will world premiere at Annecy next month.

‘Stopmotion’ is a live-action horror film, but also contains three stop-motion shorts within its 93-minute runtime.

After its theatrical run, ‘Stopmotion’ will head to the Shudder streaming platform on May 31.

The companies will host the film’s English-dub premiere at New York Comic Con before releasing it on November 3.
