A rap song about the Disney short Paperman by Adam WarRock and Vince Vandal. Enjoyment of the song hinges on your opinion of the short itself. I made it through 90 seconds before giving up.

    It was just alright; the interesting thing about Adam WarRock is that his non-geek stuff is some of his best work. He just released an EP that deals mostly with his hometown of Memphis.

    Although I will say his Ron Swanson and Gravity Falls songs are awesome.

      If you didn’t think the film’s story was good, you’re not going to want to listen to someone who can barely rap laboriously recount the film’s plotline.

    Interesting that you post a song even though you gave up on it 90 seconds in – so why would you think anyone else would be interested? I gave up 39 seconds in, but I’m not the one who posted it. Not to be too negative, since I found this site I generally love it.

      Not that I made it through for more than 95 seconds precisely, but besides that it’s just a fun idea I find it pretty awesome to learn that there are being made rap songs of short animated films. For that reason, I’m happy with Cartoonbrew posting this kind of stuff :)

        I think you guys all quit too soon — the harmony comes in at 2:30, then the beat picks up, faster, walking, running… and the end is happy. I’m happy with it, impressed. I’ve listened to it three times now and gone and found the lyrics. A really nice takeoff :-) on Christophe Beck’s really nice music.
