WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE PIECE OF ARTISTIC ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED, AND FROM WHO?
“This is tough! I’ve had so many great mentors here at RISD… most recently, Joohee Yoon gave my class some advice that seems to be popular with faculty here: Don’t worry too much about what’s popular or lucrative right now, just make work you care about and are interested in, and you’ll most likely have a far more rewarding and sustainable artistic career.
