“A single kindness can change everything,” says Pixar’s newest trailer for new director Peter Sohn’s The Good Dinosaur, arriving November 25.

It’s an extended peek into the film’s verdant Earth, which in an alternate history has escaped an asteroid impact and the resultant mass extinction. It’s also a more thorough glimpse of the film’s kind-hearted apatosaurus protagonist Arlo, and the feral human boy he befriends, Spot, than the teaser released in June that merely set up the film’s premise.

The new teaser shows a bit more of what director Peter Sohn, who recently took over the project’s original director Bob Peterson, can do, especially in regards to the planet itself, which steals much of the new trailer’s scenery. Its loving photorealistic recreation seems to be as much a star of Pixar’s latest film as its cartoonish inhabitants Arlo and Spot. Screen the reel and let us hear your thoughts.
