Cartoon Brew Relocates To Los Angeles In Time For 20th Anniversary

Although animation is produced in every corner of the world, it will always have a special connection to Los Angeles, a city where the art of entertainment animation has been refined to perfection over the last century.

Cartoon Brew naturally started out as a Los Angeles-based blog back in 2004, and was published out of the city for its first decade of existence, prior to moving to the East Coast. But the East Coast chapter is ancient history now as we’re thrilled to announce that Cartoon Brew has moved back to L.A. just in time for the publication’s 20th anniversary.

As with many Los Angeles-produced animated productions that are actually animated in other countries, Cartoon Brew’s L.A. headquarters will supplement a smooth-operating global presence. While publisher/owner Amid Amidi and his team will work out of L.A., CB continues to employ a worldwide editorial staff led by Madrid-based editor in chief Jamie Lang.
