Juries at the L.A.-based Annecy counterpart also acknowledged Alberto Vazquez’s ‘Decorado’ and Giovanni Ferrari’s ‘Éiru.’ The Audience favored ‘Arco.’
GKIDS will release ‘Little Amélie or The Character of Rain’ in U.S. theaters on Nov 7, following major festival acclaim and awards buzz.
The films are “All You Need Is Kill,” “Another World,” “ChaO,” and “Little Amélie.”
The film, which premiered at Cannes last month, is screening in competition at Annecy this week.
