Eric Goldberg Interviews Eric Goldberg

If you missed the CTN Animation Expo last November in Burbank, don’t fret. This one-hour lecture from the expo features director/animator Eric Goldberg (supervisor of the Genie in Aladdin, head of animation on Get a Horse!) interviewing himself about his personal history. Lots of clips and lots of fun to watch—all from the comfort of your own home. (UPDATE: The video is available again—see below.)

Love this guy. Funny, ultra-talented, and a super nice guy. Met him at an event and he was so genuinely kind. One of the animation industry’s best!

Awesome, this guy has inspired me so much so this was great to see. Also, I want his shirt.

  • Roberto Severino

Bummer. I would have loved to see this. Eric Goldberg is a modern animation genius.

Did anyone manage to download the video?

  • Mesterius

What the hell… why did they take this down so quickly?? I was literally right in the middle of watching it (had gotten until the point where Eric started talking about Hercules). Kicking myself right now for not downloading the video when I had the chance…

      Two words: Cha-CHING! $$$

  • Mesterius

“… the video was not ready when it was accidentally published online, and will be made available again soon.” I wonder how much that means they will edit out…

  • I was nearing the end of this video and I accidentally closed the page, only to find that it was gone when I returned. A total bummer too, because it was absolutely fascinating watch. Goldberg is such an inspiration.

It’s February 4th, still not seeing the video posted back here…. CTN must have a lot of “work” to do on it. ;p
