The upcoming Netflix animated series Hilda, an adaptation of Luke Pearson’s Eisner-Award nominated graphic novel series, will have its world premiere next month at the New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF).

The series, which follows the adventures of blue-haired Hilda, her deerfox Twig, and her artist mom, is produced by British production company Silvergate Media and Ottawa, Canada’s Mercury Filmworks, the studio responsible for the animation on The Lion Guard and Tangled: The Series.

The show’s supervising director Andy Coyle will participate in a Q&A after the screening on Sunday, February 25. Additional screenings will take place on March 4 and 17. The show will premiere on Netflix this fall.
